A Phoenix backyard rebuilt around the pool

This Phoenix backyard had the pool and the hot tub already. What it did not have was anywhere to stand, sit or walk that felt finished.

We laid artificial turf across the open ground so there is something soft and green underfoot all year, then ran pavers around the pool and along the walkways to tie the whole space together. The turf takes no watering and no mowing, which in the Valley is the difference between a yard you enjoy and a yard you maintain.
